Terms of Service
Standard terms for using this website, operated by ForgedLuxe LLC. They govern the site itself. They are not an engagement agreement and they do not create one.
In short
This is an informational marketing website operated by ForgedLuxe LLC. Using it does not engage ComplyLock for any service, and nothing published here is an offer to perform security testing or an authorization to test anything. Assessment work is carried out only under a separate written engagement agreement signed by both parties, which sets scope, authorization, deliverables and liability, and which governs over anything on this site. These terms are a placeholder published in good faith ahead of formal legal review.
1. Acceptance
By accessing or using complylock.ai (the "site"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree to them, please do not use the site. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean ForgedLuxe LLC, a Florida limited liability company, which operates ComplyLock.
2. What this site is
The site is informational and promotional. It describes, in general terms, a readiness and remediation practice for the AIUC-1 tool-call controls. It is published for a professional audience evaluating whether to talk to us.
- Content on the site is general information, not advice. It is not legal, compliance, audit or security advice for your particular systems, and you should not act on it as though it were.
- Descriptions of control objectives are plain-language summaries. The published AIUC-1 control catalogue is the authoritative text, and your accredited auditor works from that, not from this site.
- Prices shown on the site are anchors, not quotes. Scope and price for any actual work are confirmed in writing before that work starts.
- Sample findings and evidence extracts shown on the site are illustrative and sanitized. They are not a representation about any particular client or any particular result.
3. No engagement is created by this site
This section is the important one, so it is stated plainly.
Nothing on this site creates a client relationship, a consulting engagement, or any authorization for us to access, probe or test any system. That includes browsing the site, reading any page, submitting a booking through the scheduling link, holding a scoping call, or exchanging email with us. None of those acts, individually or together, constitutes an engagement or an authorization.
We begin assessment work only when a written engagement agreement has been signed by both parties. That agreement, not this site, defines:
- the systems, environments and workflows that are in scope, and what is expressly out of scope,
- the authorization to test those systems, given by the party with authority to give it,
- the testing window, methods and rules for handling live data,
- deliverables, acceptance, confidentiality, fees and payment terms,
- warranties, indemnities, insurance and the liability position between the parties.
Where the signed engagement agreement conflicts with anything on this site, the engagement agreement controls. See also the security page, which sets out our authorized-testing-only position.
4. Intellectual property
The site and its contents, including text, layout, structure, design, and the sample evidence formats shown, are owned by ForgedLuxe LLC or used with permission, and are protected by copyright and other laws. Copyright in the site content belongs to ForgedLuxe LLC.
ComplyLock and AgentLock™ are names and marks of ForgedLuxe LLC. These terms do not grant you any license to use them, and you may not use them in a way that suggests affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement that does not exist.
The AgentLock™ open-source software is a separate matter. That software is distributed under its own license, and that license, not these terms, governs your rights to use, copy, modify and redistribute the code. Nothing in these terms limits, qualifies or overrides any right granted to you by that license.
Third-party names used on this site, including AIUC and AIUC-1, belong to their respective owners. We use them descriptively, to identify the standard we work against. Their use does not imply affiliation with or endorsement by those owners, and we state plainly on the site that we are not affiliated with the Artificial Intelligence Underwriting Company or its accredited auditors.
5. Acceptable use of the site
You agree not to:
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site, its hosting infrastructure, or any related system or account,
- probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the site or its infrastructure, except as expressly invited under the responsible disclosure process described on our security page,
- interfere with the availability of the site, including through volumetric or denial-of-service activity,
- scrape or automate against the site at a rate that degrades service for others,
- misrepresent your affiliation with ComplyLock or ForgedLuxe LLC, or use site content to imply an endorsement we have not given,
- reproduce substantial portions of the site content as your own, or
- use the site for any unlawful purpose.
Normal reading, linking, quotation with attribution, and indexing by search engines and AI assistants are all welcome. Our robots.txt invites them deliberately. If you quote the site, a link back is appreciated and an accurate quotation is expected.
6. No warranties
The site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the content is accurate, complete or current, that the site will be uninterrupted or error free, or that any defect will be corrected. Standards, control catalogues and the security landscape all change, and pages here may lag behind them.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. Any warranties in respect of actual services are those, and only those, set out in the signed engagement agreement.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
- ForgedLuxe LLC and its members, officers, employees and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, loss of goodwill or business interruption, arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, this site, whether based in contract, tort, strict liability or otherwise, and whether or not we were advised of the possibility of such damages.
- Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to this site will not exceed one hundred United States dollars (USD 100).
These limits apply to the site only. Liability arising out of an actual engagement is governed exclusively by the signed engagement agreement for that engagement, and the limit above has no application to it. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
8. Security assessment engagements
Because of the nature of this business, this is worth stating separately from section 3.
We conduct adversarial testing of AI agents only where we have been engaged in writing and where the party with authority to authorize that testing has done so, within a scope defined in advance. We do not test systems we have not been engaged and authorized to test. We do not conduct unsolicited testing of a prospect's systems, and we do not treat a scoping call as authorization for anything. A scoping call is a conversation about your architecture, not a test of it.
Where a system you ask us to test is operated by a third party, or processes a third party's data, obtaining that third party's authorization is part of scoping and must be resolved before testing starts. The full position is on the security page.
9. Third-party links and services
The site links to third-party sites and uses third-party providers, including cal.com for scheduling and Cloudflare for hosting and analytics. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability or practices. Your use of them is subject to their own terms and policies. 10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised terms. Because these terms are a pre-counsel placeholder, we expect them to be replaced in full following formal legal review rather than amended line by line.
11. Governing law
These terms, and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or to this site, are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. You agree that the state and federal courts located in Florida are the proper venue for any such dispute. Governing law and venue for an actual engagement are as set out in the signed engagement agreement for that engagement.
